Still counting my blessings...

As i reflect on today...a typical day of cleaning running around town getting things like diapers and milk, and making a quick stop at the park Sarah spotted on the way home and asked "mamma play?"
And then we head home to enjoy a short dip in the pool which we enjoy all to ourselves because all the kids are in school! As we head back to the house hand in hand I cant believe this is really my life! I get to enjoy a warm sunny day with the best little blessing ever! I am enjoying this day so much I dont want it to end. Thats when you know its been a good day!
So nap time comes and my hubby and i head off to Costco for lunch :) (yep! we have live in babysitters so why not have an afternoon date?)  and what a yummy lunch it was.
Nap time is over and our ordinary yet wonderful day continues, we have some yummy grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner and then off we go for a walk around the block.
Daddy has to head off to work so we smother him with hugs and kisses and say bye and tell him we will miss him...and continue with our walk, We visit all our neighborhood dogs along the way and Sarah says hi to every passing person, car, plane, train, you name it she says "hi" and Bye".  After our walk Sarah yells out "bubbles" so we head up to take a very bubbly bubble bath and Sarah plays with her favorite bath time toys...her duckies or as she calls them her "quacks" lol. I love watching her play and make up make believe stories that she acts out. And she says "come on mamma, play" so we play....another favorite time of the day.! As we say bye to the water the night time routine continues...
We brush all her beautiful teeth and get on her p.j.'s on and go down stairs to say goodnight to great grandma and great grandpa..."nanna" and "graypa". Her routine is to give a kiss and hug and say "asta manana" which in supposed to be good night in spanish.! good job Sarah! we read a good night story about dinosaurs and said our little prayer and tuck in my girl to bed and nigh nigh as we say and turn of the light.
A perfect ending to a typical yet perfect day.
I love the life I have and grateful for my husband working so hard so that i can be home and raise our daughter.
Thank you God for blessing us with this child to raise for you. We are so lucky to have been given such a beautiful and wonderful child.
